What makes a murder cozy?
Cozy mysteries are a subgenre of crime fiction. They are light in tone, heavy in world-building, and almost always run in series. Sure, someone gets murdered. But the reader doesn't see anything graphic or violent, and the crime is solved by an amateur sleuth. My cozies are all about the relationships between the characters and the world they live in. I love creating cozy settings that give readers a little escape, where they can hang out with characters who feel like old friends.
As an editor, I specialize in cozy mystery and sweet romance.
